Cesspool of iniquity
If only we were honest What would the world be without sin? Most likely very boring! And if we continue to be honest, everyone has their preferred sin. My personal anger has always been. But this has also declined considerably due to age-related mildness. More or less. We'd rather not talk about the others now. Why don't we talk about Eau My Sin? This perfume contains all seven sins simultaneously. Why is that? I'll be happy to explain at the end!

The perfume
Eau My Sin is a sin, or rather a sinful one. Rich, voluminous and not exactly chaste. It doesn't bear his name for nothing. Since I can call pure perfume my own, I know what I'm talking about. The gates of sin open on the skin with airy aldehydes and delicately spicy citric notes of bergamot and neroli. A very short appearance of the top note, since it passes without a long torch into the heart note. A sea of blossoms and flowers opens. Undefinable in detail. Wild, demanding and by no means reserved. Daffodils, roses, jasmine are at least still recognizable for my nose. All fully blossomed and in full splendour. A huge bouquet of floral notes storms at you like a deluge. The perfume is still very colorful and dazzling, but this changes soon. Eau My Sin is becoming increasingly spicy and matte. Something very sensual begins to creep in. A matt-powdery iris note lies down on all the flowers and makes the scent almost blind, it seems. It's like the perfume's getting dusty over time. This effect is significantly enhanced by a spicy, dull and mysterious clove. This also leads over into the base, which makes the perfume appear so sinful. Resins of creamy styrax and a smoky-dry vanilla blend with buttery musk and merge with all previous ones to form a big whole. In all this one constantly thinks to perceive a leather chord that should not be present according to the traditional scents. But he's here! In my opinion it is the Zibet which smells of leather in the skilful combination with Tolu balsam which can cause a similar effect by its warm sweetness. All this is what makes Eau My Sin bear his name rightly. Sinful in every way and way!

Conclusion
To burden oneself with so many sins requires a great self-confidence and the courage not to be quiet and unobtrusively perfumed. But I guess that's the way it was meant to be. Eau My Sin attracts attention and is not exactly shy. It's extremely tempting,
deep, sensual, rich and fruity-elegant. It deserves its place in the ancestral gallery of probably the best perfumes in the world. It is worth more than just a sin and here one likes to be seduced. Here, as mentioned at the beginning, all seven sins are covered. Why is that? Here's the answer!

1.Superbia: Too cocky to become when you own it.
2.Avaritia: You don't want to share it.
3.Luxuria: It stimulates the imagination in the most pleasant way.
4.Ira/Zorn: Should you not get it as soon as possible
5.Gula: Because you can't get enough of it.
6.Invidia: Is caused when you wear it.
7.Acedia: It is very depressing and difficult to get a bottle.

Sin works as long as there will be people. And if you have reached a certain age like me, at least in my case you have lived through them all times. By the way, what also suits me is immoderateness. At least when it comes to perfume. But I'm in the best of company here. And if you have sinned again, you don't have to go to a confessional. It's enough to tell all about this delightful bottle. More understanding can hardly be expected than from this perfume!

Sinfully Haunting
Aldehydes and flowers open it and they're rich and heavy. There's also a shocking bit of civet, I really am taken back to the days of my grandmother when she always wore her fur coats, gloves and hats....I like, this very much.

Perfume Is My Sin, Indeed. And Thus, I Sin, Every Day Of My Life.
Elegance in a bottle. Powdery, gentle floral with civet notes was my first impression, but there is really so much more going on. My Sin begins with soapy overtones that burst with little floral explosions. But not in a huge way that is overpowering. It's as if you're walking in an English Garden and you stop to smell flowers along the way. You pick up different scents. The Bergamot, the Ylang-Tlang, Rose, Musk, and Vanilla are all delightfully delicious. Civet comes into play amongst the flowers. I adore civet in my perfumes. Civet is a note that seems to border on a love/hate relationship with people from their descriptions. We've all seen the wording that some use to describe cats at their most horrible and I'm guessing those are not civet lovers. It's strong and delicious in My Sin. So are the aldehydes, which are quite prevalent. There are so many wonderful notes that pop up in this gloriously creamy perfume at times, it's difficult to pinpoint each one. Oh, but it's fun to try! This is a sophisticated perfume for a sophisticated woman. The type of woman who has chutzpah. That's the woman that can wear My Sin every day and every night if she wants. Lasts about four hours for me and sillage is noticeable with the right amount. They just don't make them like this anymore. Such a pity. With so much talk of perfumes for the young, old lady perfumes, perfumes only a mature woman can handle, in all honesty, those are only semantics, mere words that people use to try and describe what they are feeling about a fragrance. People attempt to describe what they feel. Perfuministas give their best to describe perfumes to the discerning public. But a perfume that has stood the test of time and is still wanted by so many, is still used and revered... now that's something incredulous. Something to be in awe of the maker. Just imagine the generations that have delicately traced their earlobes with this glorious scent, dotted between their breasts with a scant few petals of perfume, annointed their wrists and inner elbows? Yes, perfume is My Sin, indeed. And thus, I Sin, every day of my life. And I'm happy to do so. Be it with My Sin or some other fabulous juice that I've found to complete me, what truly matters is that perfume and fragrance is a very beautiful part of my life that I shall always nourish. And you should, too. This one is delicious and if you're able to score one, you're know the delights of My Sin.
