Why should I still buy Y?
Yes, the resemblance is astounding and lattafa always manages to create high-quality fragrances that are in no way inferior to the original, which nevertheless always have their own, mostly oriental touch. I personally like that incredibly well. But I also understand anyone who wants to distance themselves from it and prefer to reach for the originals.
Fakhar is basically everything you need for the warmer half of the year. Fresh, aquatic but with depth and a certain woody spiciness. A beautiful clean man with character. In other words, what its role model is, only cheaper and inspired by the Middle East.

H/S above average if you consider it "freshy".

Gorgeous budget scent

To me is 60% closer to YSL Y EDT and 40% to EDP. Fresh, shower-gel, bright, a bit synthetic. Decent sillage and very good projection. Lasts over 8 hours on clothes on me. Bottle and cap are high quality, but tacky and too bulky. I have tested it side by side with YSL Y EDT on tester strip and this one i like a bit more, is a bit sweeter. YSL Y EDT is too expencive for me, so this one is great substitute. Unfortunately is already out of stock and can`t buy a backup.

Invictus is that you!

I've read a lot about this smells like Y, but the smell that got to me first as I sprayed it on was Invictus! Now, to be fair, I haven't tried Y yet, so I may be a little short in describing this. That being said, the first thing you smell is invictus without doubt.
A very decent performance given the price (18$), and the smell is pretty good. The bottle looks cool, too.

Simple Schoolboy Scent

Bought it because of the YSL Y hype and am quite disappointed.
I mostly smell apple, green apple.
It does not smell bad, not at all, but it is just so simple.
It is fresh, semi sweet and kinda green smelling.
Quite basic all in all.
Very simple, inoffensive, versatile fragrance u can wear in office/family/gym/indoor/outdoor except for places when u need to be taken serious, cause u will really become a joke with this schoolboy scent dna.
Tested YSL Y at the store and i really had to laugh how people can pay so much money for such schoolboy scent.

Der beste YSL Y clon?

Nachdem ich YSL Y EDP getestet habe stand direkt fest, der muss es sein.

Dabei bin ich auf den Lattafa Fakhar gestoßen welcher einer der besten dupes sein sollte.

Nach dem auspacken der erste Test, im Opening ziemlich Gewürzlastig und absolut nicht frisch oder aquatisch.

Im Drydown bleibt er für mich ziemlich schwer und Zimtlastig.

Performance und Haltbarkeit liegen zumindest bei mir weit unter dem Original, während man das Original ca 5-6 Stunden wahrnimmt und es fast bei jedem Luftstrom wieder riecht bleibt Fakhar ziemlich hautnah und kaum wahrnehmbar.

Das Original konnte durch seinen weichen und blumigen Geruch überzeugen welcher beim Fakhar für mich komplett fehlt, genau das frische und blumige fehlt hier und erinnert im Drydown eher an 1 Million oder Invictus.
