Those who like it sweet will search in vain here!
As I have already smelled a number of "oriental fragrances", I can confirm this with my own nose. Many of the Middle Eastern representatives have a rather sweet basic pattern. They don't necessarily have to be attars or "locohoums". There are spice bombs with lots of honey in them, fruity-sweet scents with "cotton candy", floral-sweet scents by every trick in the book. Those who like such fragrances have little chance of liking "Iconic Oudh". Because it lacks any of these "sweeteners".
It is a combination of dark roses, juicy, tart fruits and slightly "animalistic" rough eaglewood (Oudh). Of course, there is that subtle "cow barn note" that not everyone likes, but which suits the perfume extremely well. And it is something for "purists" who prefer a straightforward list of ingredients. It manages to create a complex effect without overtaxing the good "detectability" of the individual components. It also has a mysterious aura that subtly envelops the wearer if the spray is not overdone. Carefully dosed: WONDERFUL ;-))
