Hotter than cocoa...

WOW! Lattafa, what have you come up with here again?
A hot pot of warm cocoa milk with cream and vanilla flakes...that's exactly how this beauty smells to me. Add a few warm red berries on top and you have one of the most amazing gourmand fragrances I know.

The fragrance opens with a slightly sweet/fruity note. I can't actually smell mandarin, but the red berries come through perfectly. After a few minutes, the bouquet develops into a real cocoa/vanilla dream. Intense, but not at all overwhelmingly sweet. In the drydown, a gentle breeze of musk and tonka bean come wonderfully into play. A thoroughly harmonious dessert to spray on.

The bottle feels very solid and high-quality. The fragrance itself is a copy of Eilish No. 01 - only more intense, longer-lasting and less overloaded with sweetness. If you were to ignore the price, I think Nebras by Lattafa is clearly the better "original" and Eilish the worse "dupe".

H/S: What can I say? Sprayed it on in the morning, got compliments on the train, filled every room in the office with it during the day and still smelled of it in the evening - even after the shower. I can only repeat myself here...WOW!

For me, the fragrance is clearly something for the pre-Christmas period, when you can enjoy yourself at the Christmas market or simply to get into the winter mood.
Warm - cozy - heart-warming. A mood enhancer for everyday life, work, going out or simply when you want to make yourself comfortable on the sofa at home.

A truly delicious experience!

Deserved Gourmand

Before I get to the actual fragrance, I'll start with the packaging, because the price-performance ratio here is simply unbeatable. The packaging and the bottle itself can easily compete with higher-priced niche perfumes. Heavy and high-quality, as is the fragrance itself. Due to the red berries, it starts off a little pungent and almost soapy, but wait and see! After it has settled for a few minutes and the top notes level off, it develops into a delicious cocoa pudding. Every now and then I detect a hint of mandarin, which reminds me of Jaffa Cake. The rose and vanilla come through and play around the cocoa, like the decoration on the dessert plate of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Its sweetness grows, but tonka bean and sugar harmonize wonderfully with amber and the tartness of musk in the base. As a blind buy, this fragrance was not a disappointment. Gourmand lovers can get a high-quality fragrance in a 100ml size for "little money".

Cocoa dream

Months ago, I ordered the Eilish Eau de Parfum in a 10 ml bottle blind and was thrilled. It was slowly running out and the question was whether to buy a larger bottle or not. While browsing here on Parfumo, I discovered Nebras and immediately thought that the fragrance pyramid looked familiar. Reading the reviews made me curious and I didn't have to think twice - I ordered it straight away.

First of all, let's talk about the packaging - the box this piece of gold comes in is more than worthy. It almost looks like an old book bound in high-quality leather...incredibly beautiful. The bottle itself is also beautifully designed like a lattafa and fits very well in the hand.
Yes, and what can I say about the fragrance itself that hasn't already been said....is simply a dream. The opening is sooo beautiful, a bit boozy and slightly fruity. Vanilla, tonka and cocoa are quickly added and make the fragrance creamy soft and slightly powdery, a warm embrace, velvety through the musk base. As with the original, the longevity and sillage are above average and the price is a dream. I have no regrets about this purchase. Lattafa, you are simply brilliant, thank you

My cocoa dream comes true

Finding a fragrance with cocoa that I really like without being too much - that wish led me to you. Since I know your sister in the golden bottle (by now I would say that you are the taller of the two sisters!) I was very curious to see if you would succeed in fulfilling my wish, dear Nebras.

And lo and behold - my dream came true.

Nebras starts very berry, matching the pyramid. I find the opening a little synthetic and almost too strong, but luckily this subsides relatively quickly. Mandarin as an association does not immediately come to mind.
It's not long before the cocoa joins in. I've read "cocoa butter" a few times here and I have to agree. I find the cocoa note even softer, smoother and creamier than "just cocoa".
Tonka bean in the base makes the fragrance perfect for me.
In the drydown, the sweetness remains very present, but becomes even creamier, even softer, even if the description suggests that this is hardly possible: Nebras shows that it is possible and never becomes too much or too intrusive.

And so the fragrance envelops me all day long as a walking dessert dream.
As is usual for Lattafa, the longevity and sillage are the absolute Hanmer. People talk to me about this fragrance like no other.
You almost have to be careful here, because if you spray it on clothes, the fragrance lasts forever. And by that I mean so long that I can still detect the scent on jackets that I have worn with the fragrance weeks later. But that doesn't bother me. The fragrance has become my mood lifter for cold days. I now have to match my jackets to the fragrance I'm wearing and no longer just to the outfit :D

Apart from the fragrance as a service, Lattafa also offers a beautiful, heavy bottle with high-quality packaging for an insanely good price. Lattafa almost always has that going for it. Many a designer or niche fragrance could take a leaf out of its book.

Signature Potential

After bottling, the original bottle must be produced as quickly as possible.
What else can I say - I'm in love, totally under its spell.
In general, many, many Lattafa fragrances simply appeal to me.

The Nebras has a wonderful, masculine-looking bottle, but that is actually deceptive here, I find the fragrance unisex with a tendency towards feminine.

Spraying on the Nebras, it immediately starts off sugary sweet, red berries with sugar, vanilla sugar and powdered sugar. Hmm did I already list sugar ? :)
A little cocoa sprinkled over the berries - delicious. A delicious, exquisite dessert.
It remains mega sweet, becomes very pleasantly creamy and vanilla in the drydown.
This fragrance gently wafts into my nose from time to time throughout the day.
I feel enveloped & secure.
Could also be a budding signature fragrance.

Price performance is bombastically good.
