The fresh newcomer

First of all, yes it is "K" but somehow sweaty.
When you look at the fragrance pyramid, you expect a "freshy". Something freshly showered. But for me it's exactly the opposite. I find it musty and sweaty for reasons that are not yet clear. The lemon or bergamot was probably a little overripe. Or is it the wilted rose? Somehow everything is so mixed up.
It's nothing for me anyway.
However, it becomes more pleasant as soon as the cardamom takes over in the drydown and leaves a little woody after a few hours. But why should I "torture" myself through a musty opening when it only gets better but not really good and ends again after 3 hours?

Better the original then. K seems more orderly and not so stale.

Sweet? I only smell lemon...

I've bought a few Lattafas recently and am amazed at the price/performance ratio. There are fragrances that are incredibly well presented and also smell great. I'm not so sure about this fragrance... The packaging is sensational, one of the most beautifully packaged perfumes I have ever had the pleasure of holding in my hand (see photos).

But now to the fragrance: It is written that the fragrance should be fresh and sweet. Not the case for me. Fresh yes, sweet no, not at all. It starts off very lemony/synthetic and I wished that this would subside over time and it would become sweeter. But it doesn't. The fragrance doesn't develop, it simply remains lemony/synthetic throughout the entire duration. For the life of me, I can't explain where the sweetness is supposed to come from.

It looks like this will be my first bad Lattafa purchase, because I don't like the scent. I'll wait for the summer, maybe it will work then...

The fresh nobleman with a twist

After my first big fragrance trip, it's probably time for my first fragrance review.

To start with: we have a "fresh" fragrance here, but one that does its own thing. Not 08/15, but something more sophisticated with spice.
The presentation already promises a lot: for this price, the packaging is incredibly respectable and the presentation is incredibly beautiful right from the start. It starts with a fresh note, but is accompanied by cardamom, a hint of lavender and a certain spiciness and depth that make this look very different from a "fresh from the shower" fragrance.
No, Ra'ed Luxe presents itself quite differently, a little more noble, more sophisticated, more knowing, but without appearing rebellious; really very nicely rounded. What you get here could well be called "Lattafa Homme", namely a wonderful fragrance that is suitable for any occasion, but without wanting to copy anything.

A must for this price!

Aromatic, woody, fresh spicy.
A fresh, inoffensive, and easy-to-wear fragrance. It's like an introvert who won't bug anyone around him.
The projection is moderate as well as longevity.
Officially for men but women can pull it off too.
By the way, the presentation itself is worth half the money.
Note that there are three flankers in the Ra'ed series and this one is known as "luxe".
Luxe means expensive and of high quality!
