Puschel blossom dream
A short commentary on a current event:
The fragrance was probably taken out of the assortment, at least it is no longer in the current catalogue.
To the background:
During the winter months I used up my mimosa absolute (Acacia dealbata).
The scent of these pale yellow flowers is now not exactly known for its healing properties, but it is considered to be mood-lifting and balancing, and its delicacy is a real lullaby on a warm bath on a winter evening. And since I was constantly on the verge of catching a cold, I bathed a lot.
With mimosa absolute.
So the smell is stored quite fresh in my memory.
Today I took out mimosa from Le Chatelard 1802 again, smelled it and was immediately sure that there is real mimosa absolute in it; in a quantity that can be seen quite clearly.
*Edit: I have revised my opinion in the meantime, because I have Mimosa-Absolue here again*
Therefore a real tip for mimosa fans.
*Edit: The overall impression still fits the name Mimosa*
At the moment you can still get the fragrance for about 15 euros at various places.
By the way, Acacia dealbata is not a real mimosa, but the name has probably become so common because of the similar shape of the leaves.
I only planted one in the garden at Easter and I hope for flowers soon!
