Velvety smooth mishmash
This is a bit unusual take on a Lily-of-the-valley. Not only because it consists of 100% synthetics, but more so because the outcome is not quite the 'bewildering green floral' that Le Galion promised it to be.
First of all, I find the opening on the unpleasant side. An indistinct floral note with a touch of paint thinner. After a few seconds that is sorted out, though, and the white florals open up. A clear jasmin and a less outspoken Lily-of-the-valley. Typically, Lily-of-the-valley comes with a certain sharpness and green notes. Those are missing here. Instead, the whole feels velvety smooth, a bit dusty, sort of cashmere-like. In the base again a soft unexciting musky-amber mishmash
