Only develops after a while
I wore the rest of this fragrance yesterday. So my bottling came to an end, as did the year 2023.
When I applied the Précieuse Orchidée I thought to myself...ok...a bit old-fashioned...well wait and see. The bergamot and lemon in the opening were fresh and put me in a good mood.
After a few minutes, the orchid, jasmine and the woody note of sandalwood came through. And that put me in a slightly better mood. Still a little harsh in my eyes, but already better than at the beginning.
But then for 1h - 1.5h nothing more was perceived until suddenly the development begins and the base notes appear. Amber, benzoin, musk and vanilla created an effect that amazed me. The fragrance suddenly became warm and cozy, and I kept smelling it for a while.
All in all, a quick-change artist that you have to give some time.
Good for women and men to wear. Rather something for fall/winter.
Performance and durability still have some room for improvement.
