Since when has the Eisbach been sticky?
Disclaimer first: I was born and live in Munich, so the evaluation of the fragrance may be influenced by the name.

"Do you already know the Munich niche brand Lengling? No? You have to try the Eisbach, especially as a Munich resident"

Eisbach then. I expect to cool off. A Bavarian attitude to life. An energetic statement that fits Munich's self-image "mia san mia" just as well as the internationally renowned Eisbach wave. Surfing all year round, drifting through the Eisbach and then taking the streetcar (yes, that's tolerated^^) back. I have countless memories of this cool water, all of them positive. I know this lifeline of the metropolis from the water and from the banks. I know every corner.

And hope for a green, light fragrance with an aquatic touch.
Ok, high expectations for a perfume. May not be fair. But it wasn't the perfume for me either...

The first breeze reminds me more of a barbershop, comes around the corner very fougé. But not bad at all. Tangy grapefruit at least goes well with some hipster beer mixes that young people might drink on the riverbank. The lavender also brings some freshness and probably provides the barber's touch.
Unfortunately, the mimosa really asserts itself after a short time, the fragrance becomes unpleasantly sweet and seems completely unbalanced to me. It's a really sticky and damned sticky concoction. Associations with the Balea Men beard care product line come to mind. And the product range is also far too sweet. The fragrance is unisex, but not sexy and fresh, or at least not for long. Where the Eisbach has a clear course, the imaginary homage revolves around mimosa and lavender. I read mint, tea and basil. Maybe there were a few seconds of that to smell...I don't know, I've practically forgotten the scent, although it still sticks to my arm in a sweet, muddy way. Surely it can't be the only association that makes you want to jump into the Eisbach stream!!!

The bottle capsule can imitate Isar pebbles all it wants, the sillage and shelf life can be above average...I am unfortunately disappointed.

This perfume reflects the dark side of Munich - expensive because there is enough Diridari (money). Lots of marketing, lots of big city, lots of blah blah blah...a bit of hipster barbershop and lots of tacky decadence.

Only the Eisbach I search in vain.
I would have been very happy and would also have spent too high a price for a cool fresh German niche brand from Munich. I would also have fallen for clever marketing and really wanted to like the fragrance because of its name. Unfortunately, the fragrance is not a success, even apart from the completely botched naming (which happens quite often). And the Lenglings are clearly more at home in Neuhausen and Maximilianstraße than on the Eisbach.
