Hello, everybody. Nice to meet you again here :D
Yeah, my title says it all. Today I present a fragrance that I liked very much, where I think you should definitely test it. It's No4 - In Between by Lengling.
Scent names are a thing of their own anyway. In Between... this means "in between" or also "during". So two meanings? Of course it could also be that my English is miserable, but where in between should it be? Between the scents that this fragrance radiates? Between perfumes (hey hey :D)? Or what during what?? I don't know, I don't know!
But it doesn't matter either, because as I know you, a wiseass is going to show up anyway... um, I meant a nice perfuma or a perfumo that'll clarify what it means! As long as I can describe the smell, which is by the way (with small weaknesses) very successful, high-quality smells and yes, reads simply times even :)
The fragrance:
In the beginning I smell an excellent scented mix of roses and sweet notes, which remind me of a mix of jasmine and amber. In addition, there are light, fruity scents that should come from the peach, even if I couldn't recognize the peach right away.
A little later it still smells sweet-fruity, and of course flowery. From the flowery notes the roses become a little stronger, now also lilies of the valley are added. From the sweet scents the impression of amber has disappeared, so that later it smells more like jasmine.
A little bit later a little musk is added, in the background some vanilla becomes noticeable. From the base it still smells sweet and floral, but the fruity notes have completely disappeared. In addition, the fragrance in the base also gets a scent note that I don't always like so much, namely patchouli, which somehow doesn't seem to go very well with this fragrance, but that's a matter of taste. I would have preferred more herbaceous, woody or still sweet scents, because patchouli often has a slightly individual, earthy scent, which I personally find somehow better with woody scents. Well, of course it's not that the patchouli would ruin the fragrance, it doesn't, but it's my only real point of criticism here. But maybe you're more open-minded about this fragrance. Well, all in all, No 4 turned out pretty good.
The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is a little weak. In spite of a nice start, the charisma weakens too quickly, so that I think that the scent could best only be perceived from close up at one. However, the shelf life is much better, as the fragrance remains loosely on the skin for ten hours.
The bottle:
The rectangular bottle has strongly rounded corners or edges and a very thick base. On the front side you can see a label that extends around the corner to the side wall and looks as if it is made of fabric. The round lid is chrome-plated and the brand name is engraved on it. A simple, yet beautiful bottle.
Yes, as I said in the introduction, I found this scent very beautiful here. I think that fruity-sweet fragrances generally smell so beautiful and above all look so feminine, and don't necessarily have to be teeny if they are well made. Apart from that the fragrance looks a bit more mature again because of the patchouli at the end.
In my opinion this fragrance here from Lengling looks very great, sweet and sexy at the same time and is suitable as a day fragrance, as well as for going out or for the evening, because you really smell pleasant (for the guys :D) with it! Because together with such a fragrance everything looks more ladylike or more feminine, more elegant, sexy, beautiful,... I should really stop counting such things now, otherwise I start again to swarm and sigh alternately :D
It could be used at this time of the year, spring and summer, when all ladies are on their way fresh and loose in great dresses or (kuuuuuurzen :D) skirts. Since the patchouli makes the fragrance look a bit heavier later on, I prefer to call it an all-rounder, which should not be used on hot summer days, as this could be overwhelming.
In any case, No4 is a scent that you should have a look at, or sniff at :))
Well then, that's it again, I wish you a nice evening and see you! :)
