Campfire Romance
Campfire romance in leather clothes at the lake.
The mood is relaxed,
a few perhaps already a glass too much drunk.
Some are already home,
the rest has divided into small groups.
You and I are alone by the crackling fire.
You play the guitar
I warble wrongly 'Come to the Hardrock Café' to it.
The soft scent of fire smoke
mingles with that of the soft leather.
Our eyes meet again and again,
eventually we stop,
them from each other.
The fire crackles,
there's an incredible tension in the air...
The citrus makes the skin tingle,
the vanilla-balsamic base makes the body vibrate.
The words fade away,
the guitar sounds fall silent.
They are just glances, nothing more...
yet they say more than a thousand words ever could.

This perfume is incredible.
I thought at first, this is nothing,
the base got me full.
This fragrance must be dedicated to youthful recklessness.

Big tip: save yourself from spending the first 10 to 15 minutes on the
very alcoholic-citrusy-resinous prelude to sniff.
Then comes the...but only on skin.

Challenge
I think Nana de Bary has gone to a lot of trouble with the scents of Liaison de Parfum. Whether you like them or not is of course a completely different question. Family tester M, for example, found I Dare You much more vegetable than I did. He said, "I like it because it smells like vegetable soup." I didn't feel that strongly, but I can't deny a little rice dish at the Indian base. My French ex used to say that I smelled like soup (without perfume). Maybe I Dare Yous scent reminds me of myself? I don't know but I was overcome with a lot of sentimentality during the test (see statement). Memories of times when I still accepted challenges. Now I'm an old floppy thing and I need "Get My Slippers" or "Carry Me to the Couch".

I Dare you started short citric and then becomes beautiful, warm ambrier-woody with some leather. The spices strike much later than the pyramid suggests. At least I smelled it that way. Maybe it's different on everyone, too. I don't know.

I Dare you is something for the colder season. I've already declared autumn anyway. Women and men should be able to wear it. It's probably not suited for my job. My patients might get hungry. Otherwise, however, I would always face the challenge of wearing I Dare You. I Dare You to test I Dare You.

Verquerer feel-good fragrance
Among modern perfumers, there are some who masterfully combine the most contrasting scents into a harmonious whole.
And here, at "I Dare You", one of them put on a hand or nose. Only by reading the scent pyramid alone would I have come to a completely different conclusion: a sniffy "how might THAT smell!!???!!"
No idea how citrus and "leather" can ever bear each other.
Or even spices with oud and amber.... Reads itself... what then penetrates into the subconscious... like cowsheds in an oriental spice bazaar... from which the TRUE Scent of the perfume is light years away.
Conclusion: Reading, listening, seeing are often NOTHING against the NOSE, which recognizes a truth, even if they appear overpowering in the "modern man."
This fragrance successfully plays with the sense of smell, it seems to cast silhouette-like shadows on a white canvas, tells of lemon groves, of dark, fragrant earth, there are episodes from 1001 nights in it, stories of "Germanic dark forests", magic elixirs and magic lamps...
Yes, it is a great pleasure to sniff this scent, not least because it is "alive" and changes again and again.
A wonderful, strange "cacophony" from the most varied scents that do not match SCHEINEN...
But shine IS NOT BEING.......The true nature of a fragrance is often quite different.
