Lavender in a thick short chocolate coating
You won't find any wool here and I don't think anyone will miss it either. Instead, you get a nice thick, fluffy chocolate coat that cozily covers the lavender.
Especially in the first few minutes after spraying it on, the lavender together with the chocolate seems extremely concentrated, almost oversized and overwhelming for some noses.
It takes a good hour until the notes have more or less calmed down and the other ingredients have more room to unfold. Then the caraway, sage and other spices become more subtle and balanced. In this phase, Lavender & Wool is far more balanced and usable, so that you can better enjoy the slightly thinning dark chocolate coating in combination with the lavender, which keeps the sweetness a little in check.
The radiance is enormous, especially in that first hour, and the longevity is also ok.
This makes it the ideal fall companion for cool, rainy days, when you imagine longing for spring with a large cup of hot, viscous chocolate. Although there are now many chocolate manufacturers who refine their bars with lavender or dried lavender leaves, this blend in perfumes is rather exotic or bold, but definitely welcome.
Personally, I would have found it better if the fragrance had been more evenly distributed in its intensity. At the beginning, the lavender with the chocolate is unfortunately too overpowering and then dries down a little thinly after a good hour. All in all, really something special.
