A little fairy tale
Once upon a time there was a little girl named Lempicka. She was always friendly and helpful and always had good things in mind.
She lived in a land full of magic and surprises. She lived in a glass bottle and the smell of mint, vanilla and juniper berries filled the whole day Not far from her home there was a forest where the evil trees lived, who insulted little Lempicka every time she had to cross the forest.
There were the poop sheiks and the Tourette beech, as well as the panne fir and the laberlinde.

At the beginning of the forest stood the woodruff and gave little Lempicka good advice every time she wanted to cross the forest.
One day the time had come again and little Lempicka wanted to go through the woods again to get fresh mint.
It was a sunny day, it smelled wonderful, sometimes after a fresh shower and sometimes after an ice-cold cocktail and little Lempicka went her way like this when she reached the forest and the woodruff.
The latter greeted her warmly and marvelled at her good mood and she gave him a tangerine, which the woodruff was very happy about and opened it immediately and it immediately smelled like it everywhere.

His advice to her for that day was that she should not stop when she was walking through the forest and should not listen to what the trees are going to tell her.
And so the little Lempicka walked carefully, but with stable steps into the forest in search of fresh mint.
She was humming a little song and it was the only thing you could hear for a long time, when suddenly a voice rose up and shouted:" POMMES!"
It was the Tourette's beech, but little Lempicka went on and ignored the tree, which was calling " §&$%/§&% " but she ignored that too On her way she found a lot of mint and vanilla, which she liked so much and so she collected everything and put it in her green basket
After a while she went on and heard again a voice saying: "The best always comes last. But what does that mean? What does it refer to? Certainly not to a party, because towards the end the alcohol level increases and the quality of the conversations decreases. The hangover the next morning can't be meant! Or does it refer to life itself? Certainly not when you think of old people's homes, illness and death. As Woody Allen said: "My attitude towards death has never changed: I'm vehemently opposed to it."

Yes, it was the Laberlinde who spoke to her, but little Lempicka just went on and ignored this tree as well.
His voice became quieter and quieter as she walked and so she found some juniper berries between the branches of some bushes which she picked and put in her basket But as she bent down and picked at it, someone came at her from the side. "Who do you think you are? Who do you think you are? Why do you always go left, go right! I tell anyone who doesn't want to hear how stupid I think you are! If I were you, I'd rather be me! All you do is talk rubbish all day long!"
Yeah, it was that obsessive poop sheikh who called in But little Lempicka just looked up and smiled, because she knew that she was much happier than this grim old tree After almost 7 hours on the road and her basket full to bursting, she slowly made her way back home.
Here it still hit the panne fir. This one had a flat tire and waited for the ADAC for ages.
This drove her crazy and so she asked everyone if they could help: "Can you help me? Can you understand me? No nobody understands me! You are no help either. I just need some air, why don't you have any air with you. I hate you. I can't go on like this. Why do you just leave me here, huh?"

The small Lempicka reaches again the beginning of the forest, where the woodman was just able to walk.
He asked how it went and little Lempicka told him that it was a beautiful day, her basket was full and she was looking forward to her bottle. Her basket smelled of mint vanilla with berries and tangerine. Now the woodruff was curious how she managed to deal with the bad trees and so little Lempicka opened her backpack and took out the Binford 6000 chainsaw and said: "Always be friendly, even to those who don't deserve it and if that doesn't work show you where the frog has the curls".

So she went home in a happy mood after a long day and if she did not die, then she still smells.

And the moral of the story:
Whenever someone sits on a peak that is too high, he just moans about his too small tip.

I would like to thank KatharinaG for the testing opportunity, as well as the producers of the fabric, nature as inspiration, the team behind the team of the team, and Grimm Bros. for the template.

An exhausting lover
One week with Green Lover and I'm not really smarter.

The first test surprised me and left me somewhat perplexed. Many more tests have not changed that. I must make it quite clear: Lempica's newcomer is a strange fellow.

At the beginning the alcoholic base and the juniper create a very short impression of gin. In practice, however, this doesn't really play a role, since vanilla from the base comes through almost immediately and takes on the leading role from then on. Mint and tangerine are also allowed. In the core, however, it remains a very vanilla-heavy fragrance, which is only slightly seasoned and refreshed by the other components. At least in the first half. At the latest, when the mint starts its retreat, the smell becomes clearly too sweet to me.

So that's where we're at, strange. What I smell doesn't match the name, the bottle or the packaging. From the outside, everything points to something refreshing. It's not. Not at all. Not at all. I would also strongly doubt the categorisation as men's fragrance. What I perceive is clearly unisex and I would even bet that it smells better on ladies.

This leading triad of vanilla, mint and mandarin seems quite natural to me, but also very unusual. I don't know anything comparable and at the same time I feel reminded of something. That also belongs in the strange category. Depending on my mood and daily form I feel Green Lover from pleasant to special, unusual, pompous to unpleasant and sometimes annoying. In my humble opinion it is therefore neither a blind buy candidate, nor a grab & go, nor an easy-to-wear fragrance.

Vanilla fans who like it a little more special might want to give it a try. Creativity and quality cannot be denied to the fragrance. But for me personally, Lempicka's newcomer is simply too exhausting

Interesting scent! To me it improves over time. The sleeve cuff of my winter coat has been projecting this strong vanilla for 3 weeks now!
