A Bellini with a Kick
After months of contemplating a purchase, I received my bottle of Oh Ma Biche today. It's an interesting perfume and not what I was expecting. I can definitely smell the Bellini / Mimosa cocktail notes, the combo of peach-orange-champagne. It's fairly strong in the beginning and not sweet at all. So far, so good.
However, for me the pepper note is rather too strong. I can sense it throughout the fragrance's development and it tickles my nose. It's not offensive, mind you, but it's impossible to ignore and I happen to hate pepper notes. On the plus side, this renders the perfume quite unisex and mature (you wouldn't have guessed this by looking at the bottle!).
All in all, this is refreshing, zingy, slightly fruity and I must admit that I have smelled nothing like it. So, kudos for originality! The bottle is something to behold, it's extremely well made and graceful. A solid and unexpected offering from Lolita!
