Interesting Facts
"Finis terrae" is what the Romans called the westernmost region of mainland Europe. Today it is still called Finistère and is located in Brittany, which proudly remembers its Celtic heritage and today, after a long, rigid suppression by France's language policy, once again cultivates the Breton language, ancient myths and legends, and its own tradition.

In the land of great Neolithic history (menhirs), earliest seafaring and idiosyncratic Christianity, crêpes and thalassotherapy were invented.... and Lostmarc'h was founded: a perfume brand that took the name of the westernmost beach in the westernmost region and has been based in Rennes since 2006.

Lostmarc'h fragrances bear Breton names and invoke a typically Breton experience of nature: Sea, tides, rocks, dunes, salty air, wind, heather and dense subcontinental primeval forests are said to act as fragrance notes in scents inspired by Breton lifestyle, cuisine and landscape.
