The Love of Hay and Sun
For quite some time now I have been literally infatuated with the scent of the first flowering meadows that warm up in the sun in spring. The first bumblebees stagger around the flowers. Side by side with the bees. In the air there is always this special scent of dew, green and the life that looks forward to the summer.
And exactly in this chord comes my absolute favorite chord more and more space.
Hay.
This natural aroma when all the green splendour in the sunlight gives off its scent. One last time.
Hay carries both grass and something fermented in its fragrance DNA. The whole story. It has partial tones of honey and somehow something very sensual. And that's what Hindu grass is for me.
At the beginning still green-smoky tones find their way again and again.
And yet it is the blend of sensual transience and the scent of hay. Of warm resins and the union of tobacco and patchouli. After a good two hours, the fragrance reminds me very much of Slumberhouse's box - only without the fruit. And I like this scent very much.
When I was out in the fresh air a lot today, my nose kept wandering to the back of my hand and I enjoyed Hindu grass very much. It's almost meditative. Something comforting.
