Green love in old style
Just this morning, I received the scent pack. Open.... what was that?!?
Again sniffed, a drop on the wrist applied (it is a 60ml-"Schüttflakon")... not badly surprised when a plethora of flavors streamed through my nose.
A green spicy fragrance... it smells like... "thymianized, mint lined cedar fir, flower garden in the background.
In the midst of a landscape with moss-covered myrrh hills behind which vetyvergrasses grow.
All this is accompanied by balsamic, slightly animal, shimmering air.
Is it a chypre now? Or an Oriental?
Or a "Norn fragrance" for goddesses of fate who spin their threads in dense forests?
Of all the things, I get from my "inner nose" to the answer.
A chypre makes a lot of great oak moss on coniferous ground.
The "Oriental" appears through balsamic parts, and the Norns also spin their cords on forest soil here... then high trees up.
And "fate" led "Ravissa" to me. Above all, this fragrance is a very rare fragrance of its kind today. For me a "green love" with many advantages of perfumes of the "old manner", where reformulations had not yet been thought of and fragrances were rejected as a "toxic danger".
