A big pop of round pear flavor warmed with baking woods
This ultimate scent from TABAC is less spicy hot and fresher than legacy ones, yet it shares the same vibe, and incorporates a fruity note, a sign of updated masculinity. I am really surprised by it. When the first spray hits my neck, I can clearly detect the boozy note of the pear, like a smooth fruit spirit distilled from William's pears.
It opens salty-fresh and fruity, similar to Boss Bottled, but with the pear replacing the apple. Fresh, here there is a hint of a sudden summer rain during a hot day that blends with fruits, slightly sweet tart but not too much. Altough there is an ozonic note in the top, the fragrance is not aquatic at all.
The smell goes quickly from a soft character to a more current and heavier smell. It blossoms to include elements of lavender and violet flowers, blended with mild spicy green cardamom. However it’s the addition of smokey and blokey sandalwood and cashmeran that give it a lingering masculinity in the base of the composition. Still sweet due to the ambergris, but not cloying.
In my opinion this pleasant male but not too intrusive scent is long-lasting. Also not old fashioned, so young fresh and elegant. It is perfect for a business day, as well as a night out and gives its best in this early autumn weather.
