A great resinous-smoky fragrance experience
Many thanks to Sören for the bottling of Psychotrope :-) Here I was similarly enchanted as with the Wildfire and also see a similarity to the Autumn in Lhoka. The longevity is successful with around 8 to 10 hours and the sillage is okay so far.
The top note starts directly with a lot of resin and smoke. Thanks to elemi resin, it immediately smells spicy, peppery, resinous and like incense. Allspice, nutmeg and saffron also resonate here. The heart note remains resinous and peppery with a beautiful woodiness thanks to gurjun balsam, cypress and fir balsam. I also recognize myrrh and opoponax. The base remains logically resinous, smoky and woody, but it also smells sweet, vanilla-like and balsamic like cedarwood, styrax, ambergris and sandalwood.
In the end, I realize once again that I really like fragrances that smell of forest, resin and incense :-)
