Interesting Facts
At the beginning of the cosmetics brand, "Marbert" was a small but fine cosmetics studio, opened by the dermatologist Dr. Bertha Roeber and beautician Margarethe Sendler in Düsseldorf in 1936. At first, business was slow due to National Socialism. Things took a turn in 1948 when "Marbert" offered courses and consultation hours on all skin-related topics. After gaining numerous awards, the label enhanced its reputation in the following years and became closer to consumers. The company went to the chemical giant "Hoechst" at the end of the 1960s, where they immediately began to conquer the international market.

At the beginning of the 1990s, "Marbert" applied for a patent for the anti-wrinkle agent Profutura, which it had developed itself, and this attracted a great deal of attention in the cosmetics industry. This was followed by "Hydro-Booster Technology" (2006) and the takeover of the label by "Beauty Brands International" in 2009. Since then, "Marbert" has developed and launched new products in the fields of beauty, anti-aging and cosmetics almost every year. However, they also produced cosmetics for other well-known labels. Then, in 2011, insolvency was filed for parts of the brand.

Meanwhile, the company offers a wide range of sunblocks, lotions, creams, fragrances, and shower gels for men and women. All items are based on extensive scientific research in the brand's in-house laboratories and the consumers' ever changing tastes.

"Marbert" sells its products online and in upscale perfumeries and department stores.
