Interesting Facts

The French label "Marc-Antoine Barrois" is active in a number of different segments. The focus is on made-to-measure fashion.

The reason for Marc-Antoine Barrois' passion for fashion is first and foremost his family background. Born into a textile family, it was his fashion-conscious grandfather who influenced young Marc-Antoine. Studying textiles and fashion was therefore an obvious choice. While the future designer was learning all he could about fabrics, cuts and finishes, he began creating his own designs in 2006. He was supported by luminaries such as Dominique Sirop and Jean-Paul Gaultier. Barrois took his cue from women's haute couture, adding function, detail and originality to his suits, tuxedos and jackets.

With the opening of the first boutique for exclusive bespoke menswear in 2013, the range was expanded to include exquisite jewelry and accessories. The men's couture collections became more diverse and the label also began to rework second-hand or vintage menswear into contemporary pieces. Since 2016, "Marc-Antoine Barrois" has also launched a series of unisex and men's fragrances at intervals of several years. At the heart of the brand, however, is still the refined elegance of its high-quality but not detached menswear.

The company has a high level of social and environmental responsibility in all areas. The boxes, for example, are no longer made in workshops for the disabled, and the bottles are produced in the context of the professional reintegration of women. In addition, all fragrances are produced without the use of dyes, preservatives or UV filters.

The fragrances, accessories and of course the fashion of "Marc-Antoine Barrois" are most likely to be found in the online shop (with a Europe-wide store finder).
