Where is rose?

My nose is so used to oud-rose combination that after the first spray I was looking for any rose notes. Instead, we have a citrusy bomb + spices. It is fresh but has some dirty notes, a bit wet animal hair.

After a while, it gets sweeter, there is some oud in the background, but it is easy, trim down European oud.

It is an interesting scent but didn't steal my heart, in addition on my skin projection is very low, with good longevity it is near skin scent from start to end

Eau de Something special

The first thing to notice is an intense and powerful sweet and fruity note, which has a refreshing, soft and at the same time acidic bitter aura and is due to the grapefruit in combination with the orange.

A little later a very bright sweet floral note can be noticed, with a light creamy hint, coming from the rose geranium.

At the same time the rose geranium is surrounded by a strong ethereal, slightly sweet and deep herbaceous note of sage, which gives the fragrance something very special in combination with the rose geranium and one can only say: "Love it, or hate it".

I don't actively perceive the white pepper, but it is the case that the two scents radiate something invigorating, very slightly prickling.

In the last 3.5 hours a very intense, dirty, spicy note can be perceived, which also radiates a tidy sour ammoniacal tone and suggests a very strongly marking aura and can only be the oud.

At the same time, the oud is accompanied by a dense, almost incense-like resinous woody note, which, in my opinion, potentiates the scent of the oud a little and comes from the Virginia cedar.

These two notes are accompanied by a clear earthy and also sweetish nuance, which ensures that the animal component is given a certain deep tangibility and stems from the patchouli in interaction with the musk.

The Sillage is conceived from the outset in such a way that one is clearly noticed at a whole arm's length and this is maintained also 3 hours in such a way, before it minimizes itself up to the conclusion of the smell in quiet steps.

Soir de lune for men

I went yesterday to visit a niche perfume shop and the owner gave to me a small decant of this fragance to test It on my skin and... I have yo say that this is wobderful! Emir is one oud fragance but not the tipical one... Instead of rose micallef give as a combo oud/geranium, which makes It more masculine, classy and serious; but on the other side this perfume has. Avert sweet and animalic background, a mix of Woods, Resines and musk which makes an effect like honey. Therefore It has for me lot of similarities with his femenine sister, soir de lune by sisley... Am i crazy? About the performance i only can day that is great... Good longevity and abive average sillage. Good quality. I think It worths the price ..
