Always these candles...
I got a sample of White Flowers from a dear perfuma.
Sprayed briefly on the wrist, some childhood memories come up to me... It reminds me of the Christmas wreath I made every year together with my mother... (yes really...???)
First I smell the "foam wreath", which we have wrapped with fir branches and moss and put on a tray together with spiked oranges...
-- I smell orange, soft green fir and moss in the prelude (?) so not at all after fragrance pyramid... (?)
Then we fixed the white candles to the wreath..
-- A little later I smell something candle-like on my skin (yes, really) and this smell of unlit candles accompanies the smell on my skin for a very long time...
It's not a normal "wax smell", no, it's a somehow different candle... with a synthetic note, somehow funny to describe, but just like the candles on the wreath..
After the candles we put some berries and Christmas balls on the table and put the wreath with the tray on our wooden dining table... then my mother had always lit such a scent that smelled of incense...
-- In the aftertaste I can recognize (beside the candle smell ;) something wooden and something slightly smoky...
So either there is something "lazy" about the sample I received ;) or I have a very funny perception of this scent... Really, I also tested it a 2nd and 3rd time and always these candles..
Has anyone else smelled these candles??
