Beautiful feminine creamy-powdery clean fragrance
I just have to write something about this great women's cheapie. Even though I don't always spend much time in the ladies' department, I like to test and give away fragrances in this category. This fragrance is an absolute hit: Especially if you want to give a little something as a gift or the lady wants to make herself a great inexpensive gift... this one is absolutely suitable for that. This fragrance is absolutely easy to like and is perfect for a gift without much risk.
Mauboussin seems to be more known for jewelry, but the fragrances I was able to test totally convinced me. The nice thing is the fair price. All fragrances usually cost around €20, which is more than fair for this quality.
The fragrance comes in a great box and the bottle is also in beautiful white. The bottle is round, feels great in the hand and the atomizer is also flawless. The fragrance is just as white as the bottle: clean, bright, well-groomed, creamy and simply very radiant. A wonderful fragrance that you can get for a great €15 per 90ml. This white musk base reminds me slightly of Musk Therapy. Not a clone, but especially this great clean musk base goes in a similar direction. Not a brazen copy, as this Mauboussin was launched 4 years earlier. For those who like such clean musk fragrances: an absolute bargain at this price.
All the notes from the pyramid are present here. Is this everything? One can doubt it. Nevertheless, it is more of a fragrance without a lot of progression and unnecessarily many fragrance notes. The start is already quite creamy-quarky like a luxurious body lotion. Immediately after spraying it on, you are greeted by this great white DNA, without it appearing too staid. On the contrary, this DNA already has a lot of sex appeal. This light freshness with the creamy-powdery notes is simply very easy to like and yet is special and not to be found every day. The rose comes towards you after about 1 hour, is well perceptible but still rather buried by this clean musk DNA. This beautiful sweet praline is also very present and pleasant for many hours. Together with the rose, some flowers and clean musk, this beautiful sweetness is very pleasant and also seductive. The musk base is already beast fashion and is still really perceptible after 24 hours. Amazing in this price range. All in all, a really well-rounded thing, no disruptive factors on my part.
Performance is very, very good. As I said: this fragrance can survive for 1 day on the skin, probably even longer on clothing. The sillage is also more than successful.
This fragrance seems to hover far below the radar and deserves more attention. But perhaps that's a good thing, as it remains a great insider tip.
