My youth in a perfume
With Mexx Black my father gave me a perfume for Christmas, which my 14 year old I found absolutely ingenious.
The scent has earned me compliments, my dear man. The wooden, slightly spicy scent of Mexx Black was my trademark. My Swiss Army Knife. Not for nothing did I have countless bottles of this fragrance.
The shelf life is underground. For 12-15€ however quite OK. Unfortunately/luckily, there are now even fragrances that cost the same, but have twice the shelf life. Sillage's only okay in the first hour. Well, for school you don't need an absolute proizier monster that annoys all classmates.
If you want to have a fragrance that doesn't cost much and you are just about to take an interest in this direction, you should get Mexx Black. Absolutely recommended for students from 13-18 years. As soon as more money flows, then invest in more (even if this is not always necessary).

Push it to the Mexx!
"Mexx Black for Men is like a mix of Boss Bottled and Ultraviolet Men. A druggist you don't have to or shouldn't tear away. It is certainly not a revelation and as an advanced perfume one will not flinch at it, but in order not to like it or even hate it, it is much too much to... neat, pleasant, attractive.

For school classes 5 to 10, I would have needed exactly one of those. So if a mother or aunt is still looking for a nice scent for her "little one", with which he smells good and never attracts attention badly, then this Immergeher is not a bad choice. Not at all. If you compare it to a Frederic Malle, of course, it looks like a characterless Kloplörre. However, if you keep an eye on the price and areas of application, and perhaps even the other effusions of the brand, then "Mexx Black" is more than okay. And that's enough for a start. Sporty, young, suitable for office use. A peppery creamy tangerine amber head nicker. The intern smell. But one with which no opportunities for advancement are obstructed. And the (younger) girls usually like him too. Practical package. With low expectations and realistic estimates.

Flacon: not super high-quality, but valuable and stylish enough for the price range and brand and its areas of application. Like the scent itself. Unspectacular but clear.
Sillage & durability: moderate to mau (3-4 hours) - but after-spraying costs (almost) nothing!

Conclusion: a better Mexx (for men) is unlikely to be found - asbolut usable, often wearable and a solid choice as an entry drug into the world of fragrances. Especially for pupils and young adults who do not need it particularly fancy or expensive. Good

King in its class
Well, I’m probably not the less prejudicated person if Mexx Black is the center of the conversion, because the Mexx brand started my love to fragrances when i was a teenager (with “Black” and “Ice touch”).

After more than 10 years and tons of anorher fragrances later Mexx Black is something special for me. I think its not only because our common past, but because the vibe of its smell.
If my opinion is based only on the overall quality, its a cheap, spicy-sweet scent with a bit smokiness and moderate projection. Not unique, not high quality, not special, and nothing mindblowing here.

But on the other hand: what is the situation if someone want only one masculine (not fresh) type budget priced fragrance with the ability to use it everywhere&everytime?
yeah, its not easy even if you are not in the budget territory. Well, than you can pick only one fragrance, and this is the Mexx Black.

And what is the situation if someone want only one masculine (not fresh) type fragrance in any price range with the ability to use it everywhere and everytime? I dont know, because the most of the masculine fragrances are overpowering in summertime (like Zadig -This is him (fantastic one btw)), or not fitting for someone’s personality (like Tom Ford - Noir (too mature)), too “gentlemanish” (YSL - La Nuit/Y/Bleu de Chanel) or just too much projection for some occasiation (The One EDP).
I can only mention Armani Code with the same vibe/versatility, but in my opinion its not worth the extra price after its reformulation, because the Code’s longetivity is close to zero hours.

Depressing
Smelling this freshly sprayed I had the UGH reaction, not a good sign. A bland and bleak scent dominated by pepper and patchouli. The word "generic" comes to mind. Little citrus. The name fits the smell, as does the bottle, although it should be brownish instead of bluish. A dark, heavy and rather depressing scent with very weak performance.

The best budget scent ever made. I’m really into scents, but cannot find a 100% “step up” from this, bcoz its day/night/All season/occasion.
