Clean musk and superheroes
So you fragrant! Welcome to a new comment from me :)
Today is about Ad Lumen of MiN New York. Translated it should mean as much as "to the lumen" or "to the lumen", where lumen stands for the luminous intensity and one could simply say the brightness of a light.
Scent names are sometimes a thing of their own, where you just never know what a name sometimes means. So I can't tell you much more about this name, because I didn't find anything about the name of the fragrance. To me he even sounds like a... now it's coming... superhero (or super villain), but what else do you expect from my thoughts? D
Ad Lumen, the Bright Light! Don't laugh, there is also The Green Lamp! Better known as The Green Lantern, and even better known as Green Lantern, which is an actual superhero of DC and even one of the most powerful superheroes ever! Oh, you have no idea!
And you philistines are not interested in something like this, of course *sigh*
So I pour the scent on my arm and sniff off, because I'm sure you're not listening anyway, pah...
Then, little by little, you can smell a little citric scent, namely bergamot. I quickly smell musk. The pure musk note is unmistakable and especially easy to recognize here, as not many fragrances are effective at once and the citric notes are quite weak anyway. One could compare the musk here a little bit with the musk fragrance of "White Musk for Men" by The Body Shop.
In the background it still smells a bit synthetic with a slightly biting touch, but it seems that this gradually fades away.
Fortunately, after about five to ten minutes the for me so dreadful, chemical-synthetic beginning finally fades away completely and the smell starts to smell really nice. The main fragrance is musk, which, as mentioned above, smells bright and clean and gives off a light, nice sweetness. The bergamots are still weak, but can occasionally be noticed, especially if you sniff the sprayed area extensively. Another light sweetness comes from the subtle jasmine, but I can hardly perceive roses.
In the end you still smell the musk the most, which still smells very clean and clean. A dash of bergamot is present in the background, as well as a light, resinous-sweet note. A nice fragrance that starts a little "weird."
Hmm... matching the name, the fragrance is actually "bright". Musk, for example, I often perceive it this way and that way, because the sweetness of musk, for example, appears a little "dark" to me in many scents, but here it is just bright, it radiates formally and also smells very clean, which means that all those who have something against cleanliness could probably do nothing with this scent (but hopefully take a bath from time to time :D).
If, on the other hand, you like it, don't let yourself be deterred by the beginning, because it can seem quite chemical. But this does not last long and soon the fragrance starts to smell more beautiful. For me, the fragrance is an all-rounder that could be worn during the day at any time of the year. In my spare time or at work and all. For going out on the other hand, it is not beautiful or spectacular enough and weak enough. Because of the sweetness of the fragrance, it is probably for most a women's fragrance, but I find it already unisex. It's always a matter of taste, that sort of thing. You can test it, but it's not a must, but if you should sacrifice an arm for it, it wouldn't be so bad now!
Well... should I dare to cover superheroes again? Appropriately about Green Lantern? No? Well, then you're lucky because I don't know Green Lantern very well yet (but actually I'm good enough to annoy you with it, but I don't do it, I think I'm nicer once a week :D).
Well, have a good night and see you next time

The fragrance:
The fragrance somehow begins with a rather synthetic, austere note that reminds me a little of chemical detergents. Then, little by little, you can smell a little citric scent, namely bergamot. I quickly smell musk. The pure musk note is unmistakable and especially easy to recognize here, as not many fragrances are effective at once and the citric notes are quite weak anyway. The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is medium to slightly weak, so that the scent is best smelled from close up. The shelf life is seven to eight hours, after which it becomes much weaker. However, seven to eight hours is a good shelf life! The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular with black-tinted glasses reminiscent of Narciso bottles, for example. On the front there is a label that partially continues on the side walls. It has the brand name and the name on it, but the name always looks as if it has been crossed out. The white spray head sits on a trapezoidal neck, on top of it sits the large wooden lid, which shows the logo of the brand on the upper side. A beautiful bottle that, among other things, appears more inconspicuous than it is. Hmm... matching the name, the fragrance is actually "bright".
