Early ripe lemon
"Tangerine Vert" promises just the right thing with its name - an army (mostly natural, but sometimes also somewhat synthetic, stinging) of citrus bushes. Cool, minimalist, solid.

Because of strong 4711 bonds and a certain similarity to toilet and window cleaners he gets prints from me - but most of the time he can be smelled. It's well below the level of Atelier Cologne, but vitalizing and harsh enough for both sexes. I would almost say completely neutral. The base is transparent cedar wood, which I like very much. The whole fragrance does that - but it's hard/necessary to say many words about it, because you know immediately where you are and where the journey is going. Especially after a shower clean, pure and sparkling sensual.

Flacon: solid to lame
Sillage: tame to the back of the hand
Durability: Endurance denier - 3-4 hours

Conclusion: a green citrus infusion for cold summer mornings - emotionless and cold, invigorating and bitter. Straight and monothonous. In what it does, but difficult to criticize

Slightly more Sweet and Less Green than the Hermès Analogues
As I am a big fan of Hermès ORANGE VERTE (both the concentré and the cologne versions), it's not that surprising that I took an immediate liking to Miller Harris TANGERINE VERT. The concept is very similar and the execution and quality are as well.

In the Miller Harris composition, there is more emphasis on the orange and less on the green, but it is still a seriously scrumptious citrus creation. I find TANGERINE VERT a bit sweeter than the Hermès, which is not however to say that I find it sweet. (Nothing like BBW ORANGE SAPPHIRE, for example...)

TANGERINE VERT is a wonderful rich green citrus with florals, moss, and wood adding complexity and depth without detracting from the bright and cheery tangerine. I like it, I do!
