Between warmth, whisky and vanilla
Actually, the title of my review sums up the fragrance well and doesn't need to be elaborated on any further. :D
I came across the fragrance by chance in the souk and couldn't resist when I read the fragrance pyramid.
In my opinion, the citrusy notes fade very quickly and give way to a slightly alcoholic sweetness. Honey is perceptible in the background for the first few hours, but the whisky always resonates a little and is accompanied by a slightly spicy / herbaceous note after a while. It makes me think of a cellar where barrels are stored. The vanilla and minimally sweet notes remain in the drydown.
Whisky can have many facets, from sweet to woody to smoky, to name just a few, and I think this character is totally well reflected in the fragrance.
Rather nothing for summer but otherwise absolutely recommendable.
I also like the simple bottle with the cardboard box and Polaroid photo, which conveys the manufacturer's craft theme really well.
The spray head is wobbly and not so great.
