rose oil and bamboo
Going back through some old samples, I decided to take this one out for a try again. There's nothing wrong with it, but it is a very unexciting fragrance. Despite there being several other notes, it seems to me to drift between smelling like diluted rose oil and smelling like watery bamboo.
The Miya Shinma website states that it smells "As a meadow in May fresh and green." I don't think either roses or bamboo generally grow in meadows, so maybe that lost something in translation.
