Perfume vs. apple punch
"You smell like baked apple." I was greeted with this by my beloved today. Baked apple, hmph. Fits into the season and they are delicious too, but actually I wear Secret Sucré from Molinard. And for me, it's so much more than baked apple. How does he even get baked apple? In a fruit wine cellar here in the region (Ostwürttemberg), there is always apple punch from regional fruit trees in winter, refined with a pinch of cinnamon. If you want it very special, add a dash of fine apple schnapps and - yummy! That's the way I'd smell, he says. Yeah, it's delicious, agree with him. But my Secret Sucré is a grown-up gourmand scent. And apple and cinnamon notes aren't even listed.

Well, what can you do? Our noses function differently. For me this fragrance is a dream combination of sweet, chocolaty notes with balsamic spice. I could get myself into this as soon as the temperatures get around zero outside. This is warmth and security to spray on and not just delicious mulled wine. And I feel like he's totally grown-up. Yes, would even say that men who have nothing against a gourmand can wear it. The woods round it off beautifully and make it unisex wearable. I'd say you don't have to be a hard-boiled profum roman grenade lover to like and wear this one. That is more pleasing and for my nose much more perfume.

H&S are just as strong as the Italian mentioned above. Care should therefore be taken with the dose. I would not recommend more than 2x pft pft, otherwise one fills easily whole halls. After a few hours it gets nice and close, but remains perceptible for longer than 12 hours.

A great fragrance for autumn and winter walks and cosy evenings at home. Seen that way, apple and cinnamon are not so wrong, such a punch fits on a cold Sunday afternoon as well. As long as he likes what he sees in me

The Hidden Gourmand
Secret Sucré is for me the somewhat different gourmand scent, it dances through the nutty-woody notes from the series. Sensual and tender without being intrusive.

The prelude starts quite powdery-sweet, it takes some time until it unfolds properly. But this is precisely what makes the fragrance so exciting; it develops slowly and after the extensive enjoyment of the top note, the woody notes join in, giving the fragrance a unisex touch:
Secret Sucré is a unisex fragrance with a distinctly feminine orientation, but also recommendable for male perfumers who like it sweetish.
Cashmere wood makes Secret Sucré even warmer in the course of time and sandalwood gives it a slightly smoky note.
The base is a beautiful, dominant caramel vanilla tonka bean composition, the vanilla here is very authentic. Benzoin and amber keep discreetly in the background. It remains powdery-sweet-woody until the drydown.
Secret Sucré unfolds very well in cold temperatures, for warmer days I can't imagine him as the composition could seem "killing" after all. Dosed in moderation, the Sillage is very well perceptible and pleasant for the fellow human beings, without annoying :)
The durability is exceptionally good, sprayed yesterday evening and this morning still clearly noticeable on the skin.

For gourmand lovers Secret Sucré is definitely worth a test; If you are looking for an "adult" gourmand, you will find it here :)

Addictive, my new secret favorite.

Coumarin Beauty
This is all about coumarin and strong sweetness. The opening is similar to Une Rose de Kandahar with that sweet, nutty vibe and slightly spicy aspect. This does not have the apricot smell, just the powdery/spicy aspect. That is the opening and the base. In between we have vanilla, nutty, powdered-sugar and pure comfort. The lasting power and projection are incredible. Very classy perfume from Molinard.
