Discovering Maison Molinard.
While visiting Molinard's "Bastide historique" at Grasse on may 2023 I was looking for a perfume to buy for myself.
"MM" got my attention first because of the design on the bottle.
I continued to test the other perfumes available at the boutique but I came back to this, and I bought "MM" and "Cuir" also (and later many more Molinard perfumes as I really fell in love with this house).
The opening is wonderful. Floral and aquatic notes which after a while leave their place to an elegant woody symphony. In the heart notes there is oud but it doesn't take the center stage, it's not overpowering. It's actually nice.
The sillage is ok, it won't fill a room but it is not a skin scent either.
On my skin it lasts about 5 to 6 hours (I am curious to see how it will perform during autumn and winter).
MM is very wearable as a perfume, suitable for evening settings.
I think that the name MM stands for "Maison Molinard" but that's just a guess.
