Memories of London town
In 2014 I was in London again as every year and in the flagship store of Molton Brown in Regent street. The packaging of the fragrance was so refreshingly yellow and as I found, with pretty confetti on it, I had to buy after a naturally plentiful sniff. In the beginning I used it very often and suddenly the bottle with half of it just stopped and was not used anymore. This was partly because I have many perfumes and partly because it did not smell long on the skin. Recently the bottle fell into my hand again and suddenly I was in love again with this lemony minty and also somehow earthy scent. Since I can't go to London this year, it helps me get over the homesickness a bit. Now I had the luck to buy a bottle on ebay right on my birthday and bought the shower and bath gel that was still available. In the beginning the lime and the mint in between. For me, mint only belongs in perfume or in a drink (never ever in food). At one time, mint and a little bit of lime are the only ingredients, but then it gets a bit earthy. Not too strong but I feel it clearly. All in all a nice day scent and I am glad to have gotten hold of it again, especially this year. I will certainly use it very sparingly because you can't buy the fragrance anymore. But I am even more wasteful with the shower gel and it smells just as fine and fresh and delicious. Funny are the pearls in it in yellow and green. The eye just smells with...hihi... there is also the body lotion but I don't really dare to use it because it smells different than the fragrance itself. So this year London is at least not quite perdü for me and the covid-19 time is much happier. It's amazing how you can connect certain memories with scents. Since I have many memories, it automatically follows that many fragrances are allowed to live with me. Phew... my second comment on this account and I never thought there would be so much to tell. For years I read your comments always very curious about certain perfumes and often think to myself how pretty the words are chosen. Now I hope that you like my commi a little bit and revel a little bit in pictures of London.
