Abused as a room spray or: how I learned to love you Greece habe❤️
Yes I know stupid headline, but it's true :D
Rose Night was a blind buy. I was once again looking for a rose fragrance without a lot of bells and whistles and this has appealed to me. My first Montale!
When he arrived about a month ago I was quite excited when I unpacked him. Well about the Montale bottles mer net redde need, as one here in the green sauce city so softly ;) It's a matter of taste, I don't like them all either. But I have to say that I really like the bottle because of the combination of colours.
All right, let's go. Rose Night sprayed on and consumed the day with it.
Summary:
Rose -> Yes and very artificial. Not a juicy, full rose. No quite synthetic (but not bad)
Patchouli -> a little touch
Ambra -> towards the end, just before it ends
Musk -> Nope
Durability and Sillage -> the madness, lasts easily 10-12 hours and blows you again and again in the nose.
He doesn't go through much development. The rose is just dominating and becomes sweeter towards the end and maybe a little more "real" the synthetic is a little weaker. As already mentioned in my statement, Rose Night is not really oriental for me.
Somewhat disappointed he first wandered on the shelf to his other colleagues and was skilfully ignored.
Two weeks ago my partner and I were on holiday on a beautiful island in Greece. Then, of course, the question arose:
Which perfume am I going to take with me?
It's really stupid. According to the weather... 30-34 degrees, not a single cloud in the sky, hotel right by the sea, who wears perfume? Well me, for the evening maybe, when we go out for something to eat, drink...
Did I do it? Yes. Twice in 10 days :D
So Rose Night enjoyed his existence in Greece in that bathroom there and was occasionally abused as a room spray...
Right down to the last day.
I put on Rose Night and we finally went back to the beach to watch the sunset. With a bottle of champagne in my luggage. We watched the ships sailing into the sunset and decided to have a cocktail in a very nice bar afterwards.
Our last evening just went by way too fast and the next morning the alarm was ringing. We could only have a quick breakfast, because soon the transfer bus would pick us up and drive us to the airport.
I suggested to go to the beach again and say goodbye to the sea (Yes, I know it sounds stupid). This time at sunrise.
As we stood there like this my darling hugged me and promised me that we would come back soon and I would like to wear this beautiful perfume again next time... It would always remind him of the island and of me... ;(
