Blue blood
Devina strolls through the garden. But it is not a colorful garden like the ones we are used to seeing in other royal houses. The predominant color here is white. A cool, radiant white followed by dark green with a bluish shimmer.
Her silver hair falls in large waves over her waist. The young woman wears a sapphire-colored velvet dress. In her hands a cup of peppermint tea.
Devine holds the steaming drink under her nose and takes a deep breath. Longing fills her eyes. How she would love to enjoy this warmth. The princess is just about to sip her cup when her breath hits the steam. At the same moment, it turns into a thousand ice crystals. Devine lets out a slight sigh. She stares at the contents of her cup, which has now become more of a peppermint iced tea. "Blue blood," she mumbles to herself. "A curse" escapes her more forcefully. Her blood begins to boil and she throws the cup and its contents into the corner. The porcelain shatters and the contents instantly liquefy.
Devina looks at the floor. She has hit her favorite roses, which now hang their heads sadly. In an instant, the princess regrets her temper. "I'm sorry," she whispers softly. She kneels down on the floor, forms her lips into an "o" and begins to blow. Peppermint tendrils appear and twine around the roses, which are now supported by them.
A tear runs down Devina's face and turns to ice. She strokes her cozy velvet dress desperately. She just wants to feel real warmth for once. She would give all her wealth for it. She wraps herself in a velvety shawl and walks away.
