The skillful balancing act between the oriental aura and the high Italian art of perfumery is an essential part of Moresque's philosophy.
Behind the brand is Cindy Guillemant, a young Italian woman who originally wanted to earn her money in business. That's why she majored in International Business in the USA and then gained her first practical experience in Western European metropolises. However, Guillemant grew up with her grandmother, who was familiar with fragrance production, ingredients, and recipes. So two hearts were beating in her chest, and Guillemant decided to enter the world of fragrances. Thus, in 2014, the Milan-based brand "Moresque" was born.
From the beginning, the businesswoman, together with perfumer Andrea Casotti, tried to establish a new way of creating. She wanted to combine Moresque with the unique flavors of the Orient and a touch of Italian lightness. In addition, they wanted to draw on centuries-old processes and methods in the art of manufacturing in Italy. The Moorish scents and aromas are interpreted in a completely new way.
The perfumes and scented candles from the hands of Cindy Guillemant are divided into "White", "Black" and "Art" and appeal to different preferences. This can also be seen in the deliberately simple flacons, which bring a touch of luxury and elegance. Moresque is fully aware of its quality and does not need to draw attention to itself with flashy colors or fancy designs.
