An autumn song of dry fruits and patchouli
What a lovely and interesting composition. Posh is an earthy and rich blend of dry fruits, patchouli and vanilla. The scent reminds me of an early autumn when the bountiful richness of fruits is mixed with the first colorful leaves falling off the trees. The nature is still so full of life and warmed by the sun but there is something in the air that shows that the summer is over.
The scent opens with a nice, woody patchouli note with a hint of fruits and light jasmine. The jasmine note is only noticeable for me in the beginning. It is woven nicely in the composition and not indolic. The dry fruits become more intense as the fragrance develops into rounded and comforting composition. I often get disappointed on how fruits and patchouli are mixed in modern fragrances. This one is totally different. It has lovely natural sweetness that goes perfectly with an earthy patchouli note. I think I smell delicious dry plums, raisins and perhaps even a bit of dates in this scent. This lovely mixture makes me want to start baking pies. There is also a vanilla note mixed with the fruits in the dry down but it is not a strong vanilla perfume to me. I think the central point of this fragrance is the dry fruits. Unlike other patchouli fragrances that seem to me too strong or too dark, this one is just perfectly comforting, earthy and warm. The scent stays linear but I do not mind it at all. The sillage is pleasant and longevity is good.
This is a charming and comforting scent for an autumn season, warm and pleasant.
