Creamy coconut vibe!
I've been on a coconut journey ever since the warm weather has started. I stumbled upon this one while sniffing out perfumes at Sephora and the first thing that hit me was this voluptuous creamy coconut vibe. I absolutely had to bring in a travel size to test it out further.
It's such a well-blended, full bodied, voluptuous creamy coconut scent! The flowers give off an indolic, floral and sweet accord that further enhances the tropical vibe of this perfume. I don't get any powdery accord which is probably why I fell in love with it. It's a pretty linear scent throughout, didn't really detect any notable variation. I'm not entirely sure the accord voted on Parfumo are right. I didn't detect any fruity or fresh notes. In fact, I'd say the perfume is creamy above all else, then sweet and floral. With the warmth of your skin, it almost gives off luxurious coconut and frangipani body cream vibes.
As I was smelling this perfume, I was reminded a lot of Utopia Vanilla Coco | 21, without the small sting of ambrette. They're made by the same nose, so there are similarities. I'll have to get a sampler of Kayali's version to compare them side by side, but if you have one, you don't need the other. I might fall for this one because the creamy vibe is different from the other tropical scents I have in my collection!
