The way to Parfumo
At the age of 17, I afforded this fragrance when it appeared with my training allowance, which swallowed a third of my income. He was unique at that time and fascinated me directly. After all, I needed a scent to go out and celebrate, but at that time nothing could inspire me more than Nikos for Men. This prelude, as well as the entire fragrance process is and remains unmatched, at least for me. Of course, after four years of perfumery I got to know many new fragrances, but I had to painfully realize that there is no alternative to Nikos for Men. Often he is mistakenly compared to Rochas Man, who can't even hold a candle to him in the beginning.
While spraying on the cardamom clearly blows towards me with something citric, but is immediately softened by jasmine, and soon the coffee is added as a spice. In the base there are the vanilla, sandalwood and especially the tonka bean to finish off sweet and slightly woody, it also has something fruity about it and the blackberry, as mentioned by the previous speaker, I do not even want to exclude here. Yes, overall I would say that he is very sweet, Joop Homme and many others are too, so I see NfM rather on younger well dressed men who want to be well scented for the club. At that time a good friend called the fragrance "Schmachtparfüm". And I also felt myself to be a good bit more attractive with it!
The years went by, Nikos remained my faithful companion until the day I was told in the perfumery that he would be removed from the range, which must have been between 2011 and 2012. At that time I wasn't aware that fragrances were being adjusted, so I bought everything that was still on the shelf, that was 100ml, twice 50ml and a tester that was used first :-) When of course these supplies were also used up, I couldn't help but start looking and ended up where I am today, at Parfumo! There I also found what I was looking for and now I still have three full 100ml bottles of the fine juice. Of course a lot of time has passed until today and as it happens to many people, the scent horizon is widening and the interests are shifting.
I take Nikos for Men away from time to time for myself as a journey into the past. So should my last bottle be empty at any time, I could mourn long enough.
Until then, I enjoy every spray as if it were the last one, indulging in memories, because that's the beautiful thing about scents, they can't turn back time, but they always manage to recall what they've experienced.
