A pretty good fragrance with a lousy shelf life
It's Sunday, so once again the perfect opportunity to unpack a vintage fragrance. It makes sense to compare the Parfum de Toilette and the Eau de Toilette version of Fleur de Fleurs. I like both fragrances very much. To my surprise, the Parfum de Toilette lasts less than 3 hours and then becomes very skin-deep. The sillage is at least quite solid at the beginning.
The top note starts quite green, citrusy but also somewhat aquatic. I recognize bergamot, lemons, peach and a certain soapiness. The heart note offers a mixture of herbs and flowers. I can smell rosemary, lilac, violet, iris, magnolia and jasmine blossom. The base has a sweet, leathery, animal, woody and balsamic scent of musk, civet and sandalwood.
I find the fragrance DNA to be quite unisex and more suitable for warmer days.
