Persian cuisine in early summer

In many fragrances saffron is now an integral part of the fragrance pyramid - in none I smell him but so clearly out as in this. The opening reminds me really strongly of the saffron smell I perceived as a child, when my mother cooked. Very authentic, yet there's always a certain citrusiness to it that makes the scent wear well on warmer days. Overall, however, I personally find that more citrus would have done the fragrance good. That's why I always layer it with Eau de Guerlain. Find the two get along very well and make a beautiful fragrance for early summer. Regardless, Saffron Colognise is a really very special scent and has a high "uniqueness" factor for me personally. By the way, the saffron note is present throughout the scent but never distracting. Even when the leather notes take over during the drydown. All in all a very nice and harmonious fragrance. For me, however, as I said, even better if you promote the citrus component still a little by layering

Hello to the round,

today I would like to talk to you with pleasure and that at a late hour about a fragrance of Nishane, the "Saffron Colognisé | Nishane" . And you like 1, 2, 3 reasons bring closer, so that you possibly do not make the mistake I made, because YES it was a mistake ...

Short preface to this:

It was 2020 and yes at times Corona ( :P ) since I ordered me the great tester kit what there was at Nishane (do not know exactly whether there is this today still so ...) and there were every fragrance of the house to test (incl. those you find nowadays difficult as the Spice Bazaar and just also the "Saffron Colognisé | Nishane" ).
I'll make it short and sweet, he liked me then only so lala, he was ok, but nothing more. And 2 weeks ago I tested myself again once more through (should one in any case times, tip from me - it with temporal distance re-evaluate).

Now to the fragrance and my mistake:

You are fresh - citrus - leathery - soft, fluffy, clean and slightly floral. At the time I thought you are one of many or relatively generic as the masculin Pluriel
and yes you remind me very subtly of the, but only how you are built and how you develop, because that is the big plus.

When I spray you on something very very funny happens! You smell for 5.2 seconds after Christmas market, bakery .... - quite funny, but this comes through the SAFRAN. To all those who now think *OMG* like Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum NO and not even close, the one from the MFK is very very sweet, the one here at the Safran Colognisé is insanely noble and NOT sweet.

After that - after the 5.2 seconds comes a WAVE of beautiful CITRIC! And that in conjunction with the magnolia (in the background) and very in the background the saffron is a combination to kneel down!

In the course comes very gentle leather with fluffy musk and the combination reminds me of masculin Pluriel . Everyone who knows my review of Kredo, knows that my LOVE for fragrances that have leather in them (not really, sarcasm off), let's call it modest, but there were only 3 that have managed so far very well and that is just the Kredo and the masculin Pluriel and still the Mana ...

Now there are 4!

He is mega, great, inexpensive, high quality, timeless...l

Priced at around 125€ for 100ml from a very reputable niche house is mMn real value for money...

When can I recommend the:

Season + occasion the always goes and the people take you was, because the almost no one has and only the few know, unfortunately.

If I were really not convinced, I would put you the not heart!

Saffron-leather combination in fresh

I'm always on the lookout for unique summer fragrances that stand out from the crowd. I came across this saffron freshness that gets relatively little attention. It's not completely unknown because of the brand, but it goes under the radar when you look at the other fragrances from this brand. The complete Extrait de Cologne range is not very well known, which also includes the original Colognisé and another Hespéridé Colognisé. I opted for the saffron for now, as I find this combination of freshness and saffron very unique. You can't expect a typical cologne for the heat, but you can still use it very well for warmer temperatures.

The fragrance is quite inexpensive. 100ml cost around 80€ on most websites, RRP around 150€. I don't know if it's a cologne, but the performance is really good. Nishane attaches great importance to performance anyway, which is noticeable in all the fragrances. The packaging is a bit simpler and this fragrance comes in a normal box, which doesn't bother me. The bottle is very pretty, decorated with a golden label and beautiful light-colored glass. Cologne is written on the bottle, which probably stands for the cologne concept.

In terms of fragrance, you get what you expect: a semi-fresh scent with citrusy notes and a saffron-leather combination. As the name suggests, you should like saffron in this fragrance. Of course, you can't create a really fresh scent from saffron for high heat if you are familiar with this note in fragrances such as BR400 or Oud for Greatness. Here, however, you get a very refreshing saffron, which can also be worn in warmer temperatures and is especially great in the evening sun. The start is very fresh with grapefruit and a passion fruit note, which is more in the background. The tone is clearly set by saffron, accompanied by soft leather. Saffron is the main protagonist from the first second to the end. After a few hours, a gentle magnolia note is added. The base is very pleasant with musk and soft leather, and the saffron is also somewhat tamer. Overall, not for everyone, as it is quite special and the combination of saffron and freshness is nothing ordinary. I like it.
Performance is really good, especially for this "cologne concept". The fragrance lasts a minimum of 8 hours, although the last few hours are extremely mild in terms of sillage. On the other hand, the sillage in the first 3-4 hours is very brute, but also not overpowering.

If you are looking for a different cologne and like saffron, you should try this fragrance and possibly buy it. This fragrance is perfect for the coming spring and for evening wear.

A must have ...

Safran Colognisé is a banger for spring and summer ... very very pleasing yet complex fragrance and long lasting as well . If you try it , there is 95% chance of buying full bottle of it . This is an unisex fragrance but i think its more masculine. I got several compliments from it . It was a solid solid purchase .

Summer with saffron

High-quality cologne from very high-quality ingredients. Very, but very seasoned with saffron. It's a unique summer fragrance that becomes unpleasant over time due to the greater presence of saffron. He's a great friend for summer, but only for the occasional night wear.
