Baldini's house isn't there!
Hello you love... mostly love anyway... :D
I recently tried the Pontevecchio W, which is a fragrance that is very popular with most people. The fragrance is from the great brand Nobile 1942, which I like quite well and I think it's a real pity that it seems to be harder to get in Germany than many other fragrances, at least they told me in a niche shop that this fragrance would hardly be available in stores in Germany, so you can only buy these fragrances online (but at least also in German online shops). At least something, but I simply don't have the opportunity to try these fragrances in a shop,... a pity!
I don't know if that's true or if the saleswoman in the shop simply didn't have a clue or just didn't feel like it, because I haven't seen the fragrances in any shop yet (I can't remember if they were in KaDeWe in Berlin, for example, but I only know that there were a lot of fragrance brands there that you don't necessarily come across every day, so it's possible that you'll come across these fragrances there, but so far I've only been there once, and that only for a short time...).
The name Pontevecchio is derived from the famous Florentine bridge (which, however, is written Ponte Vecchio), which is made up of houses lined up without gaps. And no, that's not the bridge where perfumer Baldini has his house in your favorite movie "The Perfume", if you fragrance freaks had to think about it immediately after googling for pictures of that bridge... because Baldini's house is at the Pont au Change,... which is not in Italy, but in France :D
But the bridge there looks pretty cool, too!
So, I'm coming to the scent!
So the scent has fresh scented scents at the beginning, yet it smells quite warm in a nice and gentle way and is therefore not really refreshing, but still suitable for nice, warm days. The gentle one is slightly powdery, which is the "work" of the iris, but the fragrance also smells a little creamy.
Soo... later it smells nice and sweet like jasmine and musk, and maybe a little bit of amber, but despite the many sweet notes the fragrance is not overwhelmingly sweet or even sticky. You don't really smell the iris, but as I said, you notice the powdery smell. The rose provides the feminine touch and smells quite nice here, because the rose is not dominant. The woods also give the fragrance a certain warmth.
By the way, the oakmoss-like scent from the beginning is a little later in the base again smellable, which gives the fragrance as mentioned a slightly more mature charisma. It's not really oakmoss, I think it's an interplay with coriander or other scents, I don't know for sure. Of course this is not disturbing, because the scent is generally very very beautiful!
The durability is also good and lasts an average of eight to ten hours.
Soo, yes, as you can see, I have rated the fragrance with 8.5 points. No, I didn't bump my head somewhere and suddenly find coriander great :D For all ignorant people: I usually hate coriander, I just find coriander bad, whether as a fragrance or as a spice, it's bad, worse, perfume... or something! :D
No, I like this smell here, but despite the coriander! Really
But: I don't really smell the coriander here as intensively as usual. The other scents are much more intense and exude a wonderful, sweet-floral and very feminine scent, where the coriander is just a weak, nice addition instead of frightening everyone away as usual!
In any case, the fragrance has become a truly wonderful fragrance, which can be worn on warm days, but which actually works on all other days as well, making it an all-rounder. I would use it especially in the evenings, for example when going out, because it just looks so feminine and elegant and has a really great charisma.
In any case, the scent is worth a look, in case you should see it standing in a shop! Which of course would be great, because this would mean that the seller in the niche fragrance shop had no idea and this fragrance brand is still available in stores in Germany instead of just online...!
So, that's it, the fragrance comes into my women's fragrance collection, so into the list of women's fragrances that I like. I don't have a real women's fragrance collection with which I would perfume myself to make that clear :DD

At the very first nose I thought that I was smelling something classical like oakmoss, because the fragrance came over me ripe and classical at the beginning. Then, however, I was able to identify individual scents correctly, although the classic scented oak moss impression still remained in the background. Anyway, at the beginning I smell roses, a touch of mandarins and herbaceous scents, by which I don't mean coriander yet. From the citric scents I now add bergamot to the nicely smelling mandarins, which also smell a little like tea (or at least remind me of tea), which I personally like very much as always. The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is quite okay, not very high, but also not very low, so that it can be perceived to some extent at one, especially in spring and summer. The durability is also good and lasts an average of eight to ten hours.
The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular with bevelled edges and high. On the front you can see a white label with a golden frame, on which the name of the fragrance is written, whereby the "W" of the name in pink writing has been moved into the background. The neck is gold plated, the lid is transparent and rectangular. A little simple, but okay. However, there is another version of this fragrance, the Fragranza Suprema, which comes with a more beautiful bottle, as the label is bronze (or really metallic) and comes with a round, metallic and beautifully decorated lid (which has apparently now been replaced by a cylindrical, metallic lid). Soo, yes, as you can see, I have rated the fragrance with 8.5 points.
