All fresh, comrade?
Hey guys,
today I introduce you again a rather unknown smell. I know, the interest to such scents is usually rather smaller, but I thought that I could introduce myself about once a week also such an unknown smell, perhaps there are interested nevertheless nevertheless (hey, you are nevertheless my fans, therefore read pleasantly what I write here!!!!! :DD).
So, now I come to a fragrance called "Arbat" from the Russian manufacturer Nóvaya Zaryá. I have hardly found any information about this fragrance and am curious to see how it smells. It seems to be older by the way, only from the bottle you could think that it still comes from the Cold War :D
Anyway, Arbat is both a district and a street name in Moscow. The peculiarity is that this street or district has existed for over 500 years and is therefore one of the oldest remaining streets and districts in the capital of Russia. At the beginning, the Arbat was more and more inhabited by craftsmen, but over the years it developed more and more into a residence for aristocrats and artists, and even today the Arbat is said to be a sought-after residential area.
Well, so much for now, as always you are a bit smarter now and can now concentrate on the scent here :D
The fragrance begins with general citrus notes, bergamot, lemon and I think oranges. In addition, there are woody notes that quickly mix with fresh-aquatic scents, giving the impression of a (good-smelling) shower gel. In the background there is a light, musk-like sweetness. The fragrance is also quite synthetic, but I think the synthetic is hardly disturbing here and is comparable to synthetic fresh fragrances from brands like Calvin Klein, Davidoff, Gaultier etc...
Later the citrus fruits are less distinguishable from each other, but still give the fragrance a certain freshness, especially together with the aquatic notes. The synthetic becomes slightly smaller, but is always present. And due to the woody notes, the fragrance still has a slightly spicy aura and does not evaporate too quickly in the base, at least for a summer fragrance. All in all a fragrance that is okay and basically hardly changes from spraying to the end.
So, the smell here is actually quite okay. He looks very familiar because he smells like some synthetic-aquatic mainstreamers of well-known brands that you can find everywhere and he can easily keep up with these brands (like Calvin Klein, Davidoff etc...).
Of course you shouldn't expect much, because it smells like a 0815-fresh fragrance and therefore doesn't represent anything special, but if you like to use the above mentioned fragrance brands especially in summer, you can use this fragrance just as well, because the sillage and durability are in the same range as the better known brands, well, provided of course you find the fragrance too! And if not, not badly, you don't have to test him now.
That's it then from me and I wish you all a nice weekend or a great carnival, if you celebrate and so on :)

The fragrance:
Oh great, no fragrance pyramid, so I'm standing here alone with my nose and have to try to determine for myself what exactly I perceive :DThe fragrance begins with general citrus notes, bergamot, lemon and I think oranges. The Sillage and the shelf life:
Like most fresh fragrances with citrus notes, the Sillage is rather weak and can therefore only be smelled from close up. The shelf life is rather short, after only three to four hours it is already quite weak. This is quite typical for summery scents, where three to four hours is even quite okay for fresh scents, since there are also perfumes that you can hardly smell after an hour! The bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and has a high, gold-black-red label with logo and name (in Cyrillic letters) on the front and looks like a bottle from the Soviet Union during the Cold War, just like it was written at the beginning. Well, it's just something else :D Looks a bit cheap, though...So, the smell here is actually quite okay.
