Oh, how beautiful you are!..... Oh, where did you go?
It all started so beautifully, like love at first sniff. The spices, especially my beloved cardamom, the almond milk, the wood. Just as it should be.
I could see us both sitting on the couch, in Advent, with a book in our hands, two cups of coffee (I don't drink tea) with extra frothy milk in front of us. He could have been my perfect companion through the winter.
But after an hour, he was suddenly gone and never came back. He left me smelling naked and alone on the couch. It was with a heavy heart that I crossed him off my list.
I lack the sentimentality for long heartbreak, though. The sniffing continues and other perfumers also have beautiful fragrances.
