What a beautiful combination: Leather, Oud and Rose!
As soon as I sprayed for the first time, I was immediately taken with it... what a beautiful fragrance!
This was definitely a risky blind buy for me, since I don't like scents leathery or too "serious", and I'm not usually a fan of oud when it's overly medicinal.
However, Pierre Negrin here has managed to create a soft and smooth leather scent by adding a sweet praline note to balance it out.
The result is a delightful blend of oud, leather, rose, and lot of spices.
In my opinion, this fragrance is the crown jewel of Oman Luxury, followed by Royal Incense and Paramour.
The only downside is the price increase compared to the older version.
If you're looking to save a few bucks, consider going for the older packaging if you can still find it. As for performance, I was expecting a little more from the nose behind Amouage Interlude, but it's still a great fragrance overall..
Overall rating: 9/10
