An adventurous fragrance progression
Many thanks to Sören for the bottling of Dejan :-) My opinion of this fragrance changed constantly during testing. First I was less impressed, then happy again, only to become skeptical again, only to be somehow hooked. The longevity is good at 8 to 10 hours and the sillage is also reasonable so far.
The top note is initially dominated by cypriol. This makes it smell woody-resinous, leathery, animalic but also a little mentholated. The heart note smells strongly of rose water. Oud briefly provides disturbing, musty, musty, earthy and greenish notes. For a short time, I am even reminded of the smell of new electrical goods. The base, on the other hand, smells pleasant again. There is sweetness, darkness, labdanum, dried plums, animalic notes, musk, bourbon vanilla and amber. Towards the end, a beautiful incense note also emerges.
