God's work and devil's contribution
Omar Sharif, Hollywood actor of his character, is synonymous with velvet to glow-eyed heroes in numerous movies, mainly from 1001 Nights. Unfortunately, he is no longer alive, but has gone among the "perfumers" at some point, or Francoise Caron has delivered a fragrance concept according to his ideas.
And what came out of it, I now have in front of me and in my nose, I like it very much. "There are many "Oriental" fragrances and in numerous variations and variations. From very heavy-sweet over spicy up to flowery-balsamic.
None of them apply to Omar Sharif Pour Femme alone. But almost everything together, because it is very changeable. The sweet floral notes are wrapped in citric-woody veils from the very beginning. Tuberose is particularly emphasized, but is not too "difficult" or even "narcotic" to perceive. Rather a float within a creation of rose and ylang ylang with "irisigem" powder smell. Almost "angelic" in the first impression, commissioned by "Dear God", for happiness and appeasement. But as so often a little "devil" is also here in the detail.
But this "devil" is necessary to put the finishing touches to the fragrance. Because very gradually Omar Sharif Pour Femme becomes "happier" and darker. Amber, musk and sandalwood are competing in the background, while the veil of flowers in the fragrant heart turns like an elegant dervish in the dance.
Nothing prevents me from bringing my nose close to my hang-joint again and again, although the scent can be clearly perceived even further away from it. A wonderful clear Sillage, which never appears unpleasant and disturbing. Because all "participants" are in constant contact and exchange with each other. And never "boring."
It seems to me that this perfume becomes more and more varied and richer in details with increasing wearing time, and only reaches its "climax" after 3 to 4 hours, and then slowly and "devilishly divinely" well abates...
