...and the children's eyes become even bigger
The mixture undoubtedly has a certain proximity to a raw candy mass, as you can sniff it in the wonderful "Bonbonkocherei Herrmann Hinrichs" in Eckernförde, when a corresponding variety is in the making. I smell at the beginning sugary sweetness with a touch of fruit, possibly raisin. Nah, coward; yes, it's official. A splash of citrus bitterness is there, I would have guessed bergamot.

In the small manufactory, kettles and utensils are separated from the sales room by a large glass pane and the master explains every step of the artisan production (we know this by heart). At some point it comes, a warm surge of aroma that can't be stopped by the disc - and of course it shouldn't be at all! He rolls over it and the children's eyes on the other side get even bigger. Of course there is something to try at the end of the hardly cooled down sweets.

But that was it for me already today with the Zuckerwerk in the narrowest sense. I do not know where the above-mentioned "cotton candy" comes from, it does not stand with the supplier. And I'm thinking burnt peanuts instead anyway. Candied fruit of various kinds, "fruits" leaves room for interpretation. But it stays with the fig, because I also perceive a green aspect of it.

Already after one hour I am primarily with dried fruit, with a kind of waxy layer. But the green is still there and it's not just an addition. This reminds me in style of Bertrand Duchaufour's extravagant handling of the cocoa theme in 'Piment Brûlant'. By no means a twin of scents, it was merely juggling with the expectations that had been deceptively awakened by the information.

In short: After about three hours 'Dreamer' is a fruit scent with good green.

In the process more sugary sweetness comes through again, before the scent in the afternoon turns towards caramel with fruit and unfortunately develops a musty touch, dry apple rings perhaps. The best horse in the stable in this phase is a liqueur-like trace, noticeable directly on the skin. But it is intermezzo, towards the evening I practically only smell dried fruit. Therefore 'Dreamer' cannot keep up with the gourmand 'Seeker' from the same house.

I thank Naimie54 for the rehearsal.
