Lucia Starlight? Is that Luke Skywalker's girlfriend?
Tam tam tam ta ta ta ta ... and more drum rolls! It's time again to tell you stories that long ago played in far, far away galaxies...! Yeah, you guessed it, I'll, probably, talk a little bit about Star Wars!!

Okay, I just see that 85% of the readers have already vaporized... because they're total bananas and can't do anything with Star Wars. Well, I'm used to that now *sigh*
For these still here remained (why also always... :D) I explain briefly why I come once again on Star Wars. Quite apart from the fact that the last movie of the Skywalker saga will be released in cinemas this December and that the movie will be shown in less than three months, the name of this Oriflame fragrance simply reminded me of Star Wars. I mean, hello, Lucia Starlight???? This could be from Star Wars, where Lucia Starlight could be Luke Skywalker's girlfriend... and yes, I know that in the comics Luke's girlfriend (and later wife) is actually Mara Jade... but that's just by the way. What's funny, by the way, is that the whole world thought that Leia was going to be Luke's girlfriend. On the planet Hoth they even kissed... until everyone found out that this was actually total incest, as Leia turned out to be Luke's twin sister, mu ha ha ha what a sick perverted movie Star Wars is :DD

Well, I hope you're still here, because now comes the fragrance description :D

The fragrance:
The fragrance starts briefly with the pear and smells fresh and fruity. Soon the pear becomes weaker and weaker, because the lilac and the honey unfold better and faster. The lilac gives off a nice, flowery fragrance with light, sweetish accents, but also looks very slightly dry or stuffy every now and then. The honey has a heavier sweetness, but smells great. There is a further sweetness of pink pepper, which also provides a small spicy note.
Only a few minutes later I smell the earthy patchouli in the background. So it remains a little while until the fragrance becomes a little warmer later, in which it continues to radiate a nice sweetness next to the earthy notes.
Much later, however, the fragrance begins to appear a little more insignificant, even if it should continue to smell nice. So in the end you mainly smell lilac, sweet scents and some patchouli.

The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is below average, so it is best to perceive it only from close up. Unfortunately, the anyway not so strong Sillage sinks fast still further, so that the smell appears then still weaker. This means that the fragrance has a shorter shelf life of about three to four hours before you can hardly smell anything.

The bottle:
The blue bottle is roundish-oval and you can see the drawing of a shining star on the front, just matching the name of the fragrance. The neck is chromed and carries a kind of "handle" or handle or whatever one calls these things. The lid is cylindrical, clear and rather unspectacular. All in all, a bottle that looks pretty nice.

Okay. (laughs) That was the scent of Luke Skywalker. Uh... I meant Lucia Starlight, of course. ... Oh, man, aren't the two names a little similar? Don't you have to think about Star Wars all the time? Nahe,... of course not, tsss...

Be that as it may, the scent here is really not bad and therefore smells nice and fresh. It becomes sweeter and warmer later and therefore remains pleasant. The biggest criticism in my opinion is the low Sillage and durability. The Sillage begins okay, but weakens too fast, and together with a shelf life of just three, at most four hours, after which you can no longer smell the scent, you just have the feeling as if you have to spray it more often.

The fragrance may be a little summery, but I would still call it more of an all-rounder. I would use it best as a day scent, for example at work, at university, in my spare time or anything else like that, because for going out or as an evening scent it is a little too unspectacular besides its short shelf life. You can test it, but to be honest you don't miss much if the scent should pass you by.

What you're missing, on the other hand, is a unique experience if you don't go into the upcoming Star Wars movie. Have I convinced you? No?... Pah, you just don't know what's good, *really bleat* Yes, you have no idea... but I bet, if Luke Skywalker would be played by Leonardo di Caprio, you would surely flock in droves to the cinemas... tsss.... You're crazy! To put it another way, Yoda's speech impediment! D

Well, that's it, then. Have a nice evening and see you soon :)
