This fragrance opens with an exotic flower note - its sensual aroma enhanced by bamboo and spices. The floral accord is definitely unusual and may not be universally liked. My nose sees an unsettling carnal nuance reminiscent of aroused flesh, which makes me wonder how potent the scent must be in hot and humid weather. As the notes bloom on my skin, the carnal aspect retreats to the background and the spices take centre stage. During the fragrance’s mid-development the flower note re-emerges with a fresh green note by its side, marking the transition to a tamer and more pleasant floral composition. The new accord is initially quite fruity (peach), but gradually becomes woodsier - revealing in the end a creamy myrrh dry down.
