The leather rolling pin from Arabian countries
I hadn't actively purchased a perfume rollerball pen for many years, just testing it from time to time when it was time to stroll into an Arabic shop. Personally I find the oils there quite interesting, it concerns however not rarely scents, which one knows so similarly already however in other modification and above all with enormous durability. Anyway, I bought two of them online now to test again what is available on this market. The Classic Leather discussed here was clearly perceptible on the wrist for a whole day and at least after half a day it showed signs of life in the form of scent wafts. Remarkable but these oils are often very intensive.
Put simply, Classic Leather, like Tuscan Leather, smells like tangerine instead of raspberry. So my first impression, but that was imprecise as it turned out. The scent reminds me of Rasasi's Tobacco Blaze, which mixes leather with apricot. But what is too penetrating and too sweet there due to the overripe apricot is more balanced in Classic Leather. The tangerine is clearly perceptible, but not overripe. It wanders the fine line between benevolent pleasure and the spark of too much. But it does not cross this line. In fact the Tangerine lasts extremely long, only towards the end it smells of intense leather, most comparable to AdP's Leather. So it smells more solid, not exuberant like leather and also not like burnt car or whatever. Well dosed, that's it. By the way: it never smells like burnt car, you just have to like leather :)
Now that we have colloquially raised the horse from behind anyway, we come to the start. This is supplemented by citric notes. These can be filtered out clearly, reminds me slightly of AdP Leather but not as well as with the Italians. Nevertheless remarkable. The pepper appears relatively early, which actually gives the fragrance a bit of spiciness and that harmonizes. Iris supports the leather, the base notes are not dominant for me which is due to the outstanding durability of the other notes. Leather lasts a day, the tangerine almost twelve hours, as already explained. Awesome. Hopefully this will come off in the shower, I actually wanted to change the scent.
To sum up, you have to ask yourself why a 6ml perfume oil rollerball pen for five euros smells and holds better than many expensive bottles. Does it therefore have to be TL or Oro 1920? My opinion is honestly yes, because I find both fragrances to be outstanding, which is very subjective and should not be a judgement in the true sense, but of course the PLV is a joke compared to Classic Leather.
So if La Yuqawam and its flankers are still too expensive for you, which can be a good thing, you would be very well advised with Arabs like Orientica and his Leather Oudh or with Classic Leather from (now I have to read off again) Oudh al Anfar.
